This version has been extended to19 zones to include also areas not covered in the original dataset:<\/span><\/p><p><span>01 - Alpine North (ALN)<\/span><\/p><p><span>02 - Boreal (BOR)<\/span><\/p><p><span>03 - Nemoral (NEM)<\/span><\/p><p><span>04 - Atlantic North (ATN)<\/span><\/p><p><span>05 - Atlantic Central (ATC)<\/span><\/p><p><span>06 - Lusitanian (LUS)<\/span><\/p><p><span>07 - Alpine South (ALS)<\/span><\/p><p><span>08 - Continental (CON)<\/span><\/p><p><span>09 - Pannonian (PAN)<\/span><\/p><p><span>10 - Mediterranean North and Marmara transition region (MDN)<\/span><\/p><p><span>11 - Mediterranean Mountains and transition region (MDM)<\/span><\/p><p><span>12 - Mediterranean South (MDS)<\/span><\/p><p><span>13 - Aegean (AEG)<\/span><\/p><p><span>14 - Blacksea Climate Region (BSC)<\/span><\/p><p><span>15 - Central Anatolian (CAN)<\/span><\/p><p><span>16 - Eastern Anatolian (EAN)<\/span><\/p><p><span>17 - Southwest Anatolian Transition Region (SAN)<\/span><\/p><p><span>18 - Macaronesian (MAC)<\/span><\/p><p><span>19 - Arctic (ARC)<\/span><\/p><p><span /><\/p><p><span>The original dataset (vector format has been rasterised into pixel size of 100m to align with Corine Land Cover. Its spatial coverage has been extended as follows:<\/span><\/p><p><span>\u2022 Türkiye is covered only partially in the original dataset. Missing parts are supplemented by a comparable national dataset provided by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of Türkiye.<\/span><\/p><p><span>\u2022 The dataset is extended along the coastline to fully cover the spatial extent of CORINE Land Cover.<\/span><\/p><p><span>\u2022 Canary Islands, Madeira archipelago and the Azores are not included in the original dataset and added as environmental zone \u201cMacaronesia (MAC)\u201d.<\/span><\/p><p><span>\u2022 Iceland is not included in the original dataset and added as environmental zone \u201cArctic (ARC)\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>",
